Extra Terrestrial Intelligence - ETI

    Hi Friends, have you ever heard a word ETI? Well it is an short form of the words Extra Terrestrial Intelligence. 

Terrestrial refers to the planets with solid ground. 

Extra Terrestrial refers to the terrestrial planets out side our solar system. 

Intelligence refers to life forms or  living organisms.

    Combined this noun means or denotes the life forms in a planet which has solid ground and habitable zone and is outside our solar system. This can also be called as ALIEN.

FERMI PARADOX

    The existence of these ETI or Aliens is still a mystery just like the answer for which came first. This also be a reason for many theories. Speaking of ETI, have you heard of Fermi paradox? 

    We know this universe is very large right? And yet we haven't seen a single Alien or life from other planet, not even from our own solar  system. This is called Fermi paradox. In this vast universe we haven't encounter a single life form from other planets. Well, there is many possible suggestions were given by many, those are

1. We may be the first  intelligent life forms to succeed in the space exploration 

2. Other life forms from other planets 'ALIENS' are very far from us to travel all the way here either insufficient fuels or they may think we are  not worth visiting 

3. We may be the last to exist and all the intelligence exist before can be wiped out either by asteroids, explosion of star or died in battle with other life forms 

4. We may not be able to see them as they are made off different elements other than carbon 

5. They may be made up of elements with low melting point so they can't come near us

DRAKE'S EQUATION 

    An astronomer, Dr. Frank Drake developed an equation to calculate how many life forms or intelligence are in this universe. The equation as follows

    N = R* x fp x ne x fl x fi x fc x L

where:

N is the number of intelligent lives or civilization in the universe 

R* is the rate of creation of stars  

fp is the fraction of stars with planets 

ne is the average number of planets in the habitable zone or can support life per star 

fl is the fraction of planets with life forms 

fi is the fraction of planets have intelligent life form 

fc is the fraction of civilization or life forms that can communicate 

L is the length of time these civilizations communicate 

KARDASHEV SCALE 

    Did you notice that these 'ETI' or 'life forms' are denoted as 'civilizations' here? A life form of same kind develops culture and interact with other life forms or nature is called civilization.

    Astronomer Nikolai Kardashev classified the civilizations based on how much energy they use to live or they can use. This classification is called Kardashev Scale. Kardashev classified three types and other astronomers extended this scale. The types of civilization are as follows:

Type 1 - Planetary

    This type of civilization can consume all the energy from its planet.

Type 2 - Stellar  

    This type of civilization can consume all the energy from its star and its system that means all the planets in that system. 

Type 3 - Galactic  

    This type of civilizations can consume all the energy from its  galaxy and all the stars and planets inside that galaxy.

Type 4 - Universal 

    This type of civilization can consume all the energy from its universe, all the stars, planets, galaxies in that universe. These civilizations can travel from one galaxy to another galaxy.

Type 5 - Multiversal 

    This type of civilization can consume all the energy from its multiverse, all the universe inside of it. These civilizations can travel from one universe to another universe.

Type 6 - Megaversal 

    This type of civilization can consume all the energy from instantaneous multiverses. These civilizations can travel from one multiverse from another multiverse.

Type 7 - Omniversal 

    This type of civilization can consume all the energy from all the things they interact. These civilizations can travel everywhere in the multiverse, megaverse.

Conspiracy Theories

    There are two major conspiracy theories that are used in the conservation about 'Aliens'. Those are 

1. Seed Theory

2. Simulation Theory

SEED THEORY 

    This theory is not a famous theory like the simulation theory. This theory states that all the life forms in this planet 'Earth', or in other words all the living beings in our Earth are not born or created here in this planet. All the life forms in this Earth was spread from one place and traveled through space and due to the habitable zone in Earth lives are evolved in this planet. 

SIMULATION THEORY

    This theory states that this world called Earth and all the life in this Earth are experiments of unknown life or rather Aliens. 

    First let's realize what is a simulation. Have you played video game? Any video game? All the things buildings characters vehicles weapons roads every single thing in video games are simulated, this world made up by someone who decides how this world should be is called simulation. 

    Have you played a game called 'Assassin's Creed' or watched the movie 'Assassin's Creed'? In this movie or game the protagonist enters in a machine which will trigger the memory of his ancestors which is stored in his DNA and the machine will load the virtual image of a place where the ancestor has been before. Or you can realize it in the movie 'Ready Player One' or 'Free Guy'.

    There are two ways we can say this theory.

    One, we are simply not real all the incidents happening and will happen  in this world, including our own doings and thoughts are controlled by this creator of this simulation called 'Earth'. We are just merely an NPC in a video game. Supporters of this theory states that Deja vu and Jamais vu are the glitch in this simulation. The movie series called 'Matrix' is full of this concept except that despite some other life form manipulate us here machines and robots or simply artificial intelligence controls and manipulate us.

    Two, first of all we are real as well all the life forms but we are not came to existence automatically, we were created by some other life forms as experiment subjects like lab rat. They are watching our every move, decisions or all the things happen in this Earth. Supporters of this theory states some evidences.

    Every civilization in earth has some religious god who are said to be the one made the humans, and watch over every action of a human. These 'Gods' are the ones that experimenting us or simply Aliens. 

 

  Some religions or civilizations say that 'Gods' are visited our earth in different forms. For examples, Siva, a Hindu 'God' who drank poison in the size of a sea and the color of his throat became blue. Thor, a Norse 'God' who has a special weapon called 'Mjolnir' which can only be lifted by only him and his father Odin, both of them can make  thunder or lightening. Moses, prophet of 'God' in Christianity was said to split the red sea to make a passage. Muhammad, prophet of Allah, 'God' in Islam, split the moon in half. All these 'Gods' and prophets have control over the things that humans cannot.

    Some states evolution of man as evidence to this theory. The evolutionary stages of early men is in the order of Australopithecus Afarensis, said to be existed in 3.7 million - 3 million year ago, this species of early men existed 700,000 years in this Earth. Homo Habilis said to be  existed in 2.4 million - 1.5 million years ago, this species existed for 900,000 years in Earth. Homo  Erectus said to be  existed in the period of 1.6 million to 250,000 years ago, which means they existed for 1.35 million years. Homo Neanderthalensis said to be existed in the period of 130,000 - 40,000 years ago, they existed for 90,000 years. And finally, Homo Sapiens first existence is said to be around 34,000 years ago. The real problem of this order is between two stages there exists a big time gap and no fossils are evidences of life in those periods were found. The supporters says that those stages or species are experiments as well and removed from here by the creators of this world also called as 'Aliens'.

    This theory can be seen in the movie series called 'Aliens' especially in the prequel 'Prometheus', in this movie a group of humans travel from Earth to a distant planet to find the creators of Earth, and see the creators and their another creation.
